Back to School Happened...And lots of other stuff before that

I've neglected this poor blog for a while. It's understandable considering how little spare time I had during the holidays! I went back home for a lovely 20 days. I met with friends, family, and food. Especially food. Beach, dinners, board game nights, movie nights (LOTS OF MOVIE NIGHTS), I did it all. I really needed a good dose of home. Then I got stuck because of the snowstorms in the northeast....At least I got stuck in paradise.

Fun movie. Not much else to say.

Not particularly fond of the series (hence the long wait to see it). But liked this a lot more than the first one.

And now that that's over, it's time to get back to the other world. I started uni this week, and already I foresee a busy term. But I'm also excited! I have very interesting courses this term, and I'm starting my work placement soon. As heavy as it will be, at least it promises to be fun!

On another note: I finished The Book Thief, by Mark Zusak. It took me a lot longer than I had hoped, but it was without a doubt the best book I read in 2013! I started reading the first book in the Dresden Files Series by Jim Butcher. A nice, easy, funny and quick read after the soul cringe of The Book Thief. Not a work of genius, but a really fun urban fantasy so far. I'm told the series get's very good later on.
